In 2023 I hosted Vox Media’s award-winning narrative podcast series, Land of the Giants, a documentary audio series about our most influential tech companies.
The six-episode season focused on the billion-dollar dating app industry, and features interviews with current and former employees, founders, and executives from companies like Tinder, Hinge, and Match Group. The season won an Adweek Audio Award for best new technology podcast.

NEWSLETTER STRATEGY, 2016, THE REYNOLDS JOURNALISM INSTITUTE

In college I worked as a reporter for the Seattle-based digital news site Crosscut while completing a fellowship with the Reynolds Journalism Institute. At RJI, I helped create Opt In, a free tool to help newsrooms design and manage effective newsletters. In a series of articles documenting the research, I created a cheat sheet for newsletter analytics, explored how newsletter metrics translate into publisher revenue, and explained how to optimize a newsletter’s performance through testing and measurement. I spoke about this research and my current role as a writer of the Quartz Daily Brief and Obsession as a guest panelist at CUNY J-school in January 2018.
